It was a special day.
In this film we will not find classic cake, first dance, and even preparations. Maciek and Zyta did everything differently, in their own way. They arranged everything personally from A to Z. It would not be anything special if it wasn’t for the fact that the wedding took place on a deserted part of the beach in Hel, and there were a total of 6 people on site, including myself. I had the pleasure to accompany them for the longest time.
The day started very standard – there was a wake up call, a shower, and classic scrambled eggs for breakfast. However, from the very morning it was floating in the air. The excitement was far beyond the nerves that accompanied them.
Engagement session – is it worth it?
In this crazy day, we found a moment to walk around the area. This allowed us to take a deep breath and take some loose shots for the film. The walk also relaxed us, it all worked out well. Here a message to my couples (and not only):
do not be afraid of the engagement session, maybe it is worth exchanging the wedding session just the day before the wedding. Believe me, your attitude is completely different when you live with it all the time. Put on your comfortable favorite clothes and go for a walk with me.
Nieubłaganie zbliżała się złota godzina. Pusta plaża, piękne miejsce, dekorator pracujący w pocie czoła. W tle muzyka, niewiele głośniejsza od wiatru. Gdy Zyta maszeruje powoli, bardzo powoli zza wydmy, Maciek czyta list, który dostał od ukochanej. Jestem obok niego, widzę jak się denerwuje. Nikt poza nimi nie wie co było napisane, ale po łzach wzruszenia możemy się domyślać.
Ona w pięknej, odważnej sukni z dodatkami w stylu boho, on w lnianej koszuli i szelkach. Szpilki, buty? Kto by się tym przejmował! Stojąc po kostki w piasku i przysięgając sobie miłość do końca życia przy zachodzie słońca nic się nie liczyło. Nic poza nimi.
Dzień przypieczętowali zabawą w sąsiednim mieście – Sopocie. Plaża, świece, whisky, wino i przyjaciele. Na koniec zabawa i powrót przy wschodzie słońca.
Brzmi jak dobry film, prawda?
Maciek and Zyta did it their own way. Whether worse or better – judge for yourself. One thing is for sure – they were the happiest people in the Tri-City that day. Let’s not be afraid of deviations from the rule and remember – the film is mainly for you. Do as your heart tells you.
